Reports

We have many clients who require a fast and professional production of their reports. These can range from a simple 4 page A4 flyer to a full mixed colour and black and white multi-volume perfect bound set of books.

Elect can handle them all. Even better, if the turnaround is very tight we can use both our digital and offset capacity to meet deadlines and pricing requirements by rapidly printing a small number of reports for distribution at an event, but printing the bulk of the order offset for delivery a few days later.

You get good looking, professionally printed reports in time for your event, but an offset price for the rest of the run when it’s delivered to you for distribution a little later – a win,win situation! And naturally, we make sure colours and production qualities match on both runs!

Elect Printing can supply runs from 25 to 50,000 or more by using our range of both digital and conventional printing equipment to match your quality and pricing needs.

Saddlestitched jobs always have page counts in multiples of 4, and if the outside (cover) sheet is the same stock as the text it’s known as a self-cover job.

The saddlestitch format allows a designer to run pictures and panels across the gutter (the area between left and right pages) for dramatic displays of pictures and illustrations.
Books

We regard “books” as being publications that are too large for saddlestitching (binding with two steel staples in the spine). The upper limit on pages is generally between 60 and 72 pages, depending on the stock used, and whether the job is perfect bound or wiro bound.

Books, whether colour or black and white generally have their text printed on a lighter weight of stock – often 70-90gsm uncoated stock. This both reduces bulk and the cost per unit of material. A perfect bound book will usually have a 250 – 300 gsm cover. A wiro bound book may not have a heavy cover, but usually has a blank card back and a protective clear plastic cover on either the front or both front and back.
Stationery

All businesses need stationery, and Elect Printing can make yours stand out from the crowd. Our offset-printed letterheads, envelopes, and with comp slips print perfectly in your laser or inkjet printer.

Our multi-sheet carbonless books and pads make your record-keeping a snack. Business cards of almost any colour or design can be ordered in runs as short as 100, or as many as, well, the sky’s the limit!

Posters

Posters are a simple and effective way to advertise your events and products. Elect Printing can economically provide you with as few as 10 or as many as 100,000, depending on your needs.

Our digitally printed posters can be full colour or black and white, with full bleed even up to A3 size. Our offset printed posters can be spot colour, full colour or just black and white. The offset presses are perfect for larger poster runs, and can go up in size to a huge 360 x 510mm if necessary.

We recommend 128gsm satin stock for printing – it’s strong enough to last, and the satin finish makes the poster easy to read, even in areas where reflected light can make glossy posters harder to read. Of course, you can order lighter 80gsm stock, or heavier 170gsm or even 200gsm stock if the environment demands more robustness.
